A lonely man

Troubled with the struggle for existence!

Wanting

Needing

Yet knowing that he cannot have!

A light

A dim light

So near, yet so far away!

He reaches

He grabs

He looks

It is gone!

The man

The lonely man

Crying for the light to return!

The light

The dim light

Why did it go out?
